City Hall Photo Lab Contemporary Collection

The City Hall Photo Lab Contemporary Collection consists of 3500 photographs taken between 1982 and 2010 by the City Hall Photo Lab, part of the City of Rochester's Communication Department. Images in the collection were taken by long-time City Photographer Ira Srole. The collection includes images representing many aspects of life in Rochester during this time, from social events to development projects, and reflects the diversity of Rochester life at the end of the 20th century.
