Historical Context

Shenendehowa School District, formed in 1950, is a public school system located in Saratoga County, New York. It is the largest school district in its county. Serving parts of Clifton Park, Halfmoon, Malta, Waterford, Ballston, and Stillwater, it is made up of thirteen schools and continues to grow.

Scope of Collection

The physical collection, housed in the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library’s Local History Room, contains documents from the 22 small schools in the surrounding area that were consolidated into the Shenendehowa Central School District and also includes minutes, annual reports, grade books, photographs, school census forms, books, and other documents.
